Second Home, Barranco, Lima, Peru
Second Home Peru is a beautiful expanse of land once home to Victor Delfin, one of the most prominent artists in South America. A renowned painter and sculptor, he is best known for his work, El Beso (The Kiss). Second Home Peru is a retreat comprised of Tudor-style architecture resting on the crest of the pacific cliffs of Barranco, Lima's art district. Accommodations will be held here. Students will be able to participate in studio classes, lectures and cultural tours of Peruvian art.
We will also embark from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. From there, we will tour Machu Picchu, discussing the line, couture, perspective, composition, technique, narrative, and emotion that is naturally abundant within the Machu Picchu landscapes.
